Miona Shimizu

Miona Shimizu is a Japanese textile artist, who works mainly using shibori tie-dyeing techniques. She creates three-dimensional objects that take advantage of the characteristics of fabric materials, such as their thermal transformation, or “shape memory”, and their transparency. Her creations are wide range of items, from practical items to art pieces. Her earrings are playful, colorful, and light, each piece individually made.
