SIWA

SIWA is a collaboration between washi paper maker ONAO and Fukasawa Naoto, the well-known industrial designer.  SIWA products are made of naoron, a special type of paper developed by ONAO consisting of a mixture of wood pulp and synthetic fibers. It has the distinctive texture of paper yet does not tear easily and is highly water resistant.
