MATSUMOTO FARM

Matsumoto Farm is a 100-year-old farm in the small town of Mihama in the south of Mie Prefecture. The climate here is especially good for growing plums as it is warm all year round. The fruit kishu nanko plum has a thin skin, is fleshy and very juicy. Great care is given to each step of making the umeboshi, from prepared the soil to the pickling process.
