What is Hojicha?
Hojicha is a roasted Japanese green tea. The production first follows the classic green tea production. For the Hojicha production, the finished green tea is roasted in a further step. This is how it gets its smoky aroma and the brown color typical of this tea.
The tea has a strong, smoky taste with nice roasted aromas combined with the fresh aroma of ginger.
A relaxing tea, which can also be drunk in the evening due to its low caffeine content.
