NANKEI POTTERY originates back to 1913 when they used to sell porcelain clay which has now evolved into a small pottery producer located in Mie prefecture Japan. They specialize in banko ware, producing mainly tea pots, teacups, as well as tableware. Banko ware is a type of Japanese pottery (stoneware) traditionally from this area.
